Graphical Display

The graphical display option extends the ease of use and flexibility of RSI’s hand reader offerings. Menus that guide the user through set up and the normal use of the unit can now provide instructions and prompts in character-based languages, such as Chinese. This greatly enhances user acceptance and minimizes the learning curve for installers, administrators and users.

Ethernet Option

The graphical display directly replaces the integrated two-line, 16 character LCD display that is standard on all handreaders. It is capable of displaying 122 by 32 pixels and is backlit to insure excellent readability in low light environments. The pixel map has been divided such that each of the standard handreader menus is displayed in both English and the character based language.

The Graphical Display can be ordered as an option with the following RSI Products:
HandPunch 1000, 2000, 3000, and 4000
HandKey II and CM

This option must be ordered at the same time the HandReader is ordered and is not field retrofittable.
